Obituary

Timothy Wayne Milner, 53 of Trenton, Missouri and formerly of Newtown passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday June 14, 2020.

He was born February 9, 1967 in Unionville, Missouri the son of Margaret Jane (Childers) Milner and Billy Wayne Milner. Graduated with the class of 1985 from Newtown - Harris High School and on February 25, 2000 he married Shelly Garrison.

Tim is survived by his wife Shelly; two daughters, Tiffany Norman and fiancé Travis Heldenbrand of Cameron, Missouri and Molly Norman of Trenton, Missouri; two grandchildren that he adored, Chase and Emery-Lou and his grand dog Diesel Norman; his mother Margaret Jane Milner of Newtown, Missouri; father, Billy and wife Donna of Tucson, Arizona; father-in-law, John Garrison of Humphreys, Missouri; sister, Tammy and husband Bill Ralls of Galt, Missouri; step-sister, Carla Hunt and husband Brad of Tucson, Arizona; sister-in-law Kelly Hines and husband James of Trenton, Missouri; two nieces, Keri Ralls, and Angela Woodley and husband Jack Jr.; three nephews, Justin Ralls, Logan Garrison, and Eric Hines along with numerous aunts’ uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, mother-in-law Anna Lou Garrison and brother-in-law Phillip Garrison and dear friend Jr. and Norma Russell.

Tim was a devoted hard-working man that valued and loved his family. He was born his mother’s favorite son and was all boy loving everything from dirt bikes to tinkering with motors and old trucks. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed teaching his daughters to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed deer hunting and spoonbill fishing trips. Every year he loved driving their yearly vacation and adventures to explore nature. Tim was a member of the Newtown Christian Church. A dedicated employee to Conagra Foods in Milan and Trenton, Missouri for over 30 years. He also spent numerous hours working alongside his good friend Jr. Russell farming and enjoying the good ole’ Missouri country life.

The families wish was for the gentle and eco-friendly Cremation H20 service offered by A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, Missouri.

A visitation is planned for Friday June 26, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary at 310 North 65, Trenton, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held at the Union Grove Cemetery on Hwy 139 North of Osgood, Missouri at 10:00am on Saturday June 27, 2020 with Danny Busick officiating.

Memorials are suggested to his wife Shelly Milner and her plans are to start a college fund for Tim’s grandchildren.

Very sorry to hear about Tim's passing. I remember hanging out with Tammy and him in Milan and Newtown a LONG time ago when we would come up to visit everyone. Rest in Peace Cousin.
