Linda Lorraine VanLaningham, 68 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away on Friday May 3, 2019 at Kirksville Manor Care.

She was born July 15, 1950 the daughter of Gail and Thelma (Leath) Bartlett in Atlanta, Missouri

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Deloris Atha and Vivian Westcott

Linda is survived by her husband, Carl VanLaningham of Kirksville, Missouri; one daughter Cindy Van Laningham of Kirksville, Missouri; chosen granddaughter, Dalis Montana; one brother, Ronnie Bartlett of Milan, Missouri, sisters, Janet Morton of Kirksville, Mo, Dicy Perkins of Kirksville, Mo; sister-in laws, Jeanetta (Duane) Chrisman of Kirksville, Missouri, Sue (Duane) Lawson of Kirksville, Missouri along with several nieces and nephews.

Linda was a devoted housewife, mother and aunt. She was full of laughter, loved children especial Dalis, for many years she ran her own day care. She was also and excellent cook and loved to visit and hang out with her nieces playing games or putting puzzles together.

A family interment will be held at a later date in the Hazel Creek Union Cemetery.

Love you Aunt Linda. I will always remember when you kept me when I was little and we would go to garage sales and then the old A & W for coney dogs and a mug. Also the CB jamborees with you and Uncle Carl. Spending the night and playing UNO. Too many memories to count but all cherished. Love Tina
