I met Sharlene when I was about 10 years old and she was 20. I thought she was a very beautiful woman, but way too old for me, of course. Her brother, Gerald Thurman Collins married my mother, and although Sharlene was not blood relation, she was more. She was an Aunt and GOOD friend. She will be missed but NOT forgotten.
